SL2014-PT System and LESSI Local Information System
Development, maintenance and technical assistance for systems supporting public funding project processes
For the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, we provide development, maintenance and technical assistance services for the SL2014-PT system and the LESSI local information system.
These systems support processes related to grant applications, decisions, payment requests and the exchange of information between the institution and beneficiaries. The project includes ongoing system maintenance, further development and adaptation to current user and organizational needs.
The services are provided in 2019–2026.
Challenge
Systems used to support projects financed from public funds must ensure stability, security and predictable operation. They process important information related to applications, decisions, payments and communication between the institution and beneficiaries.
The challenge was to ensure continuity of operation and development for an environment that supports formal administrative processes and is used by different groups of users. It was also important to implement changes in a controlled way so as not to disrupt ongoing case handling.
One of the development tasks was the implementation of a timestamping service for documents signed in the system, supporting the formal handling of electronic documents.
Scope of work
As part of the project, we are responsible for the development, maintenance and technical assistance of the systems.
The scope of work includes, among others:
- maintenance and development of the SL2014-PT system and the LESSI local information system,
- handling requests and providing technical support,
- implementing functional and technical changes,
- ensuring stable operation of the environment,
- administrative and operational support,
- implementation of a timestamping service for documents signed in the system,
- ongoing adaptation of the systems to user needs.
Our solution
We provide comprehensive maintenance and development support for systems used in processes related to public funds and public projects.
Maintenance and development of the SL2014-PT system
The SL2014-PT system supports processes related to grant applications, decisions and payment requests. As part of our work, we provide system maintenance, request handling, functional development and support for ongoing operation.
The purpose of these activities is to ensure uninterrupted system operation and enable its further adaptation to the changing needs of the institution and users.
LESSI local information system
LESSI serves as a local information system supporting the exchange of information between the institution and beneficiaries. The system enables more efficient handling of communication and administrative processes carried out within projects.
As part of the project, we provide maintenance and development services to ensure that the system supports current processes and remains useful for end users.
Timestamping service
One of the project tasks was the implementation of a timestamping service for documents signed in the system. This solution supports the handling of electronic documents by linking a signed document with a trusted time of the operation.
This is important in administrative processes where formality, the sequence of actions, accountability and the ability to confirm the signing time at a later stage are essential.
Results
The maintenance and development of the SL2014-PT and LESSI systems support the stable handling of processes related to projects financed from public funds.
The key results include:
- ensuring continuity of system operation,
- supporting the handling of grant applications,
- supporting the handling of decisions and payment requests,
- improving information exchange between the institution and beneficiaries,
- implementing a timestamping service for documents signed in the system,
- ongoing functional and technical development,
- providing technical assistance for users and administrators,
- maintaining systems used in administrative processes.
Project organization
The project is carried out using an agile methodology, enabling the team to respond continuously to the client’s needs, handle requests, plan changes and implement new functionalities.
The project team includes:
- IT security specialist,
- two developers,
- two system administrators.
This team structure combines development, administration and security competencies required for the maintenance and development of systems used in public administration.
Summary
The SL2014-PT system and the LESSI local information system support processes related to grant applications, decisions, payment requests and communication between the institution and beneficiaries.
The development, maintenance and technical assistance services we provide ensure system continuity, further development and support for administrative processes carried out by the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy.
The project demonstrates the importance of long-term maintenance of public systems that must remain stable, secure and adaptable to changing organizational and user needs.
